After extensive student input, the GW Student Association launched a revamped web presence. This resources network, consisting of GWStudentAssociation.com, gwsafunds.com, and ourgwsa.com, is designed to not only inform students about what our student government is working on, but also provide access to the vast array of services that our student government provides. Most importantly, it offers students an avenue of communication to their elected leaders so that the conversation is not simply one way.
GWStudentAssociation.com, the primary site, is dedicated to the formal workings of the organization – meetings, agendas, minutes, and contact information. Newly launched gwsafunds.com serves to introduce an additional level of transparency to the funding process by not only providing student organization leaders with resources necessary to navigate the often times cumbersome financial process, but also ensuring that every student has the ability to track, analyze, and evaluate our collective student fund to ensure that it is being best utilized. Also launching is ourgwsa.com, centered around the personal side of student government on campus, our one stop for all the resources that the Student Association and its leaders have to offer.
But this is our website! We’d love to hear thoughts and feedback – let us know what you think by emailing web@gwstudentassociation.com or by tweeting us @ourgwsa.
Want to get involved? Think you can help to make it better? Throughout the year we’ll be looking for assistance keeping the website up to date. No special skills are required, just an eagerness to learn! Email web@gwstudentassociation.com if you’re interested.
