The Finance Committee is responsible for the initial allocations to all registered student organizations. The Committee has independent authority, which allows it to allocate funds to registered student organizations as a co-sponsorship for specific events or functions in addition to their operational or mid-year allocations. In terms of legislative policy, the Committee considers amendments to the Student Association Bylaws pertaining to financial matters shared jointly with the Rules Committee and/or amendments to Senate Rules procedures or policies pertaining to financial matters shared jointly with the Rules Committee.
