The Rules Committee is in charge of administering and maintaining the Senate. All bills regarding Senate or Student Association operation, such as the Constitution, SA Bylaws, or the Joint Elections Charter which governs GW elections, pass through and are approved and modified by the committee. In addition, the committee is in charge of filling senate vacancies, appointing Freshman and First Year Graduate Senators, and confirming appointments made by the President of the Student Association to the Executive Branch and the Judicial Branch.
