2 Graduate Senate Seats are Open! Apply NOW!!!!

The Student Association  is pleased to announce the  process for filling the remaining Senate vacancies for the 2009-2010 academic year.  The following 2 positions are available:

1 Graduate At Large

1 Graduate School of Education and Human Development  – Graduate

Applications will be accepted on a rolling base. The Rules Committee, if needed, will conduct interviews, at a time and date to be determined.  Candidates who pass out of the Rules Committee should be prepared to attend the next Senate Meeting, which will be on Tuesday, January 19, 2010.

1 Columbia College of Arts and Sciences Graduate Senator

1 Graduate School of Education and Human Development Graduate Senator

Senator Application 2009-2010

Senate Seeks First-Year Non-Voting Senators

Every fall, the Senate invites students ( and undergraduate) to apply for Non-Voting First-Year Senate Seats. Students selected for these seats have the same rights and privileges as other senators (except a vote) and have the opportunity to join one of the four Senate Committees (Rules, Finance, Academic Affairs, or Student Life). Additionally, every first- year graduate senator is automatically a member of the Graduate Affairs Committee. This is a great opportunity to and have your voice heard!
