Catching up on my to do list and planning for Colonial Cabinet training this weekend. Help me out by answering this question in the comments: If you were incoming freshman, what would you want to know about the Student Association?

Today was the Freshman Class Summit. Hosted by Steve Roche it brought together many different departments to talk about class affinity and the freshman year experience. The challenges of community building and communication were discussed extensively. Academics and advising, community service, the gps program, and freshman reading were talked about in addition to CI and even some pre-freshman experiences. What was your freshman year experience like? Letus know so we can share the information!

Lots of meetings today. Spoke with Safeway headquarters about the close of their Georgetown store for renovations and the impact on GW. If you could use your gworld online would you order groceries from safeway.com? Let me know your thoughts by emailing Julie@gwstudentassociation.com. Jason and I then had a meeting with Dean Siegel to talk about freshmen involvement, our projects for the year, and the upcoming Pelhalm hall project. There is a lot of really cool stuff going into that building and I for one can’t wait to see it!

Had the opportunity to meet with the wonderful Colonial Cabinet and let them know a little bit about the SA and how freshmen can get involved. Interested in getting involved? Check out the information on this website!
